Galmere Proud Awards Recipient
10 October 2019 – Galmere Foods entered three products for the 2019 Blas na hEireann Irish Foods Awards – and left Dingle on Saturday with four awards!
Our own branded fresh pesto, Pestle and Mortar, won both Gold (sundried tomato red pesto) and Silver (green basil pesto) in the highly competitive sauces category.
The chowder we make for our valued partners Supervalue and Centra won a Gold Award.
And finally Galmere won best food business in Galway.
We could not be more proud of and delighted for the talented team that work so hard to create these award winning foods.
GALMERE AT THE PLOUGHING
Galmere Foods had a great time in the Lidl tent at the recent Ploughing Championships, a fantastic opportunity to hand out over 10,000 tasting samples of Deluxe Seafood Chowder to people who already know and love it as well as new fans!
We would like to thank Catapult Marketing and especially their team who helped us serve 100s of trays of samples over the three days. Galmere’s Andrew Keegan proved a hit when interviewed by KCLR radio, so a very busy but enjoyable few days getting the opportunity to meet some of the consumers who enjoy our products.
